We did it! We finished our special sukkah just in time for Sukkot, brilliant weather, company dinners with old friends and neighbors, and community open houses. The booth is even more special than we’d imagined it could be, and the knitted harvest just keeps coming.
The basket is nearly overflowing, and there are still peapods, green onions, broccoli, cherries, oranges and strawberries on the way (along with my patterns if I can manage to straighten out my notes). There’s more information about the sukkah here and here.
Other news: I’ve finally been invited to join Ravelry! The prospect of doing an inventory of my stash, even with the tools this beta website offers, is daunting. But I’ll have to find an evening or two to go through the baskets, bags and piles of yarn to match it with some of the projects circulating through Ravelry. With all the UFO’s scattered about the house, this autumn’s knitting will be a challenge. If you are looking for me there, I’m registered as “tikkunknitter” (still).
